It might be the same series? I just spotted it in my TV Guide and looking on the TLC website it mentions Season 5 episodes 1 and 8 showing tonight - and according to Wikipedia Season 5 is the one narrated by John Barrowman.

Bugger me just checked the BBC website, Bizarre ER's been gone since Oct 2011.
They can start repeating it from Series 1, it's been gone that long, to much giggling and wincing from me.
I wonder where Freema is these days, probably gone stateside.
Not sure if I can take Barrowman's voice for too long.
