As always with DTC, a nice melting pot of old and new.
I liked Les and his wife's introduction, nice to see the beginning of their new chapter, and an interesting introduction for Donna. I like that she's going to be a bit of a bitch, it's much more interesting than playing it safe.

Where's Aunt Babe in all of this Carter stuff?!
This, its nice to have freshness and not just bring back old characters.
I hope Lucy's death won't be down to that fall she took otherwise all the hype will just be pointless smoke and mirrors. They can have Audrey Trueman sustain a bump to the head before succumbing to it, that's fine, but it's a cheap trick if they're planning to milk it until February.
Ian and his millionth mention of his family history on the market *yawn* Thank goodness this marketgate crap is finally over.
Still don't like Cindy, please let her go and live with her Aunt.

Only a few seconds of Deano
Think she will be gone in a year or so or maybe before. With Lucy going can see her following.
I actually quite enjoyed this episode (though it's rare I find an episode un enjoyable), it further developed the storyline between Ronnie and Lola, the Carter scenes were interesting as I often find them to be, the market storyline was finally wrapped up with the market staying open as we all expected and three new interesting permanent characters were introduced.
I do wish that we'd seen more or Deano than just the final minute however, especially after seeing him already on Friday which confirmed he was back in Albert Square and Lucy could have been more prominently featured though her head injury could be a big clue of how she ends up dead by the end of the week. I found it particularly haunting to hear her discussing how she would be as a mother considering that we know now that side of her life will never come true. Also seeing her posing with her family all smiling was slightly saddening too.

Dean spoke! but he is getting the Stacey return treatment.
Nice to see Mo again.
I am going to like the three new characters.
When is Lady Di going to have her puppies? I want to see Puppy Lamps.
They're new but Les has been in EE before on a recurring basis.

I thinks she's filming Wizards vs Aliens
Well I wouldve struggled to concentrate at work!!;-)
Would he recognize who he is, i mean its been years since he last has.

PS, bring back the Babe :D
THem coming under the bridge like a mob reminded me of the end of the French series Les Revenants.
He is though isnt he??
Posh, intelligent, dweeby, awkward. Very Will.
Yep - lovely. He was a very pretty, attractive boy - he's a fantastically attractive man.
Never mind that, I'd have been arrested. ;-)
Shouldve gone to spec savers
(Or youre taking the piss!:D)
Will is funny though.
Theres a man who "grew into his looks" if I ever saw one.
He'll be at his peak of hotness in about 5 years. Men generally look super hot in their late 20's-early 30's. (Matt is 27 soon)

Indeed. For supposedly one of the biggest storylines in the shows history, this was a truly dreadful first episode of the week.
