I know Summer annoys a lot of people but I actually like the current teen gang. So I hope Summer leaving won't split up the Tash/Chris and Andrew unit because I think they work really well together.
When you look at the Neighbours teens of the past, in particular the god awful Donna/Bridget/Declan/Sunny/Ringo gang, which took over practically every single episode, Summer isn't so bad!
My worry is a new teen may be shipped in to replace Summer and that this teen may be even more annoying than Summer was because let's face it, Neighbours have serious form when it comes to annoying teens!
I always go back and forth on Summer and I'm slipping back into dislike with her over the past month so I'm not particularly saddened by this departure, but I will miss her partnership with Tash.
Really I'm just relieved it's not Tash that's going.
Aw, such a shame. For some reason, I envisaged Jordy sticking around for a good few years. I've got to say that she's a great young actress and though Summer can be quite irritating at times, she plays her really well. I'll definitely miss her, and I actually think the show will suffer from this loss along with Jade's.
while this is very good news , i wonder who will fill in the 99% airtime per episode that summer takes, will it be the likes of susan,karl & paul or kate - i fear it could be kate

God I hope not. Neighbours has been so much better since that sour faced bint and her brat left. I hope she never returns.
Neighbours has a good cast at the moment so with Jade and now Summer leaving I hope we're not going to get a lot of departures now.
But I suppose coming and going is inevitable and natural in soaps.
