Thursday is when the ''Build'' up begins with a discovery regarding Lucy. Next week it's all the Mitchell/Beale/Branning and the Cotton stuff moving forward just in time for the 30th.
Regarding the Cliffhanger it because of the Mick VS Dean scenes on Thursday and as mentioned regarding a spade.
looking at the cast lists the Carters are still in every episode like a bad smell.
Tina should ditch those horrible vest tops and leggings, she is pushing 50.
She has just turned 40.
Good old Patrick. He's got the measure of Dean!
Marathon story was boring but it was pleasant looking at Kush's muscles.
I noticed that Shirley didn't contradict Mick when he called Dean a rapist. She just promised to get him away from London. I think Shirley knows Dean is guilty.
I also thought it was odd when Lauren and Jane were talking about invisible ropes between lovers and Jane seemed shifty when Lauren said there must be one between her and Ian. Hmmm...

The thing about the Carters is that they are very all or nothing. They either appear and completely dominate or they don't appear at all. When Mick and Linda returned after New Year, I was really pleased to see the next part of the rape plot explored - and it delivered some truly fantastic material. And now, two weeks later it's all become a bit much again to the point that the almost-blackout of Carters next week will come as a huge relief.
To me, they are fantastic characters played by fantastic actor with fantastic storylines. They just need to readdress that balance so that it isn't as much of a slap in the face when they appear.
Otherwise, it was a weird/quirky/surreal little episode, which we seem to get every now and then on EastEnders, but it was very enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the Masoods, who are really setting up a great little family unit with the inclusion of Kush. I'd love to see Zainab return. I think it's time.
Stan is so selfish, if he wants to kill himself he should just do it instead of emotionally blackmailing the family he abandoned for decades to do it for him, making them criminals in the process and having them live with the guilt and pain for the rest of their lives.
She didn't look smug tonight, she looked defeated, gutted.
Very pleasing.
Imagine what it would be like in real life to find that out? Shirley was in an awful situation and maybe she didn't handle Linda well, but at the time she believed in her son. She has now alienated her family and realised her son is a rapist, a crime which is has tried to pin solely on her. I do feel for Shirley, actually. I don't think Shirley is supposed to invoke great pity but It would be an impossible situation and I do feel bad for her in a way.

Always does
Just over 13 miles
Correct but they do 80 laps. Half marathon
But most of them had been lapped several times.
Have to agree
Roya Cropper ?
She looks OK
Irrelevant IMO
Very pleasing.
I refuse to feel sorry for her.
Kudos to Shabnam's win too.
Yep, Jane's definitely pushed for Lauren x Peter over the last year in order to keep the later from breaking apart under his secret...
