Thanks - will take a look. I would love to be able to name those shiny things up there. :)

Oh, that's a different program. Use stellarium for that :p

But space engine is the one you use just to mind **** yourself because it's all just so visually amazing.

A Humax 500Gb YouView recorder for £69 from Cash Converters. It was on sale at £89.99, but talked the guy down to £69.99.

    That was last week though.

Today just 3x KitKat Peanut Butter, 2x2.2 litres of milk, pooh roll, a bunch of 80s vinyl albums for the grand total of £3 from a charity shop (12 albums in all). I think they just wanted rid of them. Some decent ones too.

Cool! :) I would love to get into stargazing, but our location isn't ideal. I just stand in the back garden, gazing skyward.

I noften take me dogs for walks in the middle of the night, and I just love looking up at the stars and I saw an article on Jupiter and thought I'd buy myself the telescope thingy for my birthday as it was under £20. My aim for this year is to find somewhere near where I live that I will be able to see the milky way from.

Three scarves from Ebay. One arrived yesterday, and I love it.

I think I'm going to try that Space Engine too. Sounds pretty good!
