Stuffing!

We are having goose for Christmas dinner and want to do a home-made stuffing for it. Most recipes we have seem to assume you're stuffing turkey or chicken, but goose is a much more strongly-flavoured meat, and much less dry. Any ideas ? Apple and chestnuts have been suggested, also cranberries. Anyone else made a good stuffing for goose before?

The last time i did a goose i did it with an apricot stuffing made from:
sausage meat
Semi-dried apricots chopped up
a good splash of apricot liquor
and some paxo all mixed up together

it went down very well

I'm doing a bacon, potato ,sage, thyme and parsley stuffing for the goose this yaer.
