Going to work in a bit, will be glad to get away from horrific night on tv - first time ever I think that my sky box will be recording nothing at all today. Watching Superstars at the mo as my box is empty - everything watched due to dismal tv over the last few days
It's terrible the TV tonight. Best I can see is a Stephen King on Channel 5 tonight. Don't think I've seen that. Was really looking foward to watching something good tonight.
Yup, absolute crap on TV tonight. Love Actually is good but I've seen it a million times and have the DVD. Mrs Brown's Boys is being repeated and it was only shown this week! If the BBC had to repeat something, couldn't they have found something else that was on a good while ago?
I'll watch Secret Fortune later but that's it.
I miss the days when Jonathan Creek and Murder in Mind were on Saturday nights
I agree with most of the above. It has to be the worst night on TV for months, if not years.
I'm going to give Restless a try(recorded from the other night) but the reviews i've seen don't give me much hope! So it'll probably be a DVD of The Hustle. Yes it's a night to resort to a boxed set if ever there was one!
Have to agree with the majority, the weakest lineup for ages! its like the schedulers have all gone out on their annual knees up and just shoved any old rubbish on!
Think i'll be finishing off the Olympics DVD set I got for Xmas.
Not too bad for myself tonight. I very rarely watch the main channels on a Saturday night as it's filled with dancing or singing shows, so I tend to default to the sports channels.
So far I've watched some of the football and 30 years of citv. I'll be watching College Football, MOTD and UFC the rest of the evening. I'll catch up with Superstars tomorrow.
I agree its a crap night on TV. I've got no recorded programs left to watch. Where do they think everyone is?? No one goes out during chrimbo limbo. They're all saving themselves for nye

For the commerical channels its probably more down to the fact that the advertisers will see it as a bit of a dead week...Xmas has been and gone (and so have the perfume, food and toy adverts) the January sales are starting earlier and earlier, so those ads are winding down too...and we've not quite fully hit the January 'fitness DVD & diet ad' season yet either! so channels probably don't see the point of putting anything good on.
I don't think it's quite as bad as some people are saying (although You've Been Framed is testing my patience). The summer will probably seem worse (especially for those who enjoyed the Olympics).
So I get the weekend off.. only to find nothing is on the tv?
How disgraceful. Not one thing is on the TV tonight what intrests me.. Does anyone else feel the same? I've had to turn QVC on..
You're right, luckily we have some progs recorded. QVC? Desperate or what?
I've been watching More4 - it is doing a couple of programmes on British Weather - one was a repeat and one was done this year. After this weather programme there's a programme on the Blitz that looks interesting. Never thought I would see the day I sat and watched weather programmes over what was on the terristorial channels..lol

Where have all the good programmes gone

Still got MOTD and then the Football League Show, so its not all bad

Love "Dad's Army" the TV sitcom, but the film version is not very good (imo), and I can't stand Queen, so I can't really agree with you.
It could only have been worse with the inclusion of either Back to the Future or Indiana Jones
Can't beat a good old 'Carry on' film-Good family fun.
Living abroad, I dont have to pay the TV licence fee
Now watching Blue Bloods off the planner.
That has no bearing on the crapness or otherwise of what's on though?
