You've obviously missed the controversy about every local BBC radio station losing it's original programming, and having to broadcast a networked show between 7-10pm and taking the 5Live feed at 1am (I gather this was the case anyway in other regions but in London we had our own Overnight show). All because of the BBC cuts, so I was surprised to read your posts talking about introducing a new late night show till 2am on 3CR. BTW David Prever had a Lunchtime show on LBC a decade or more ago. His voice is not really suited for speech broadcasting. He did some Overnights on BBC London and it was difficult to hear what he'd said sometimes, as his voice tails off so much. Frankly, why him and not Bill Buckley? I might've got an internet radio then.
