The Most divisive "Doctor Who" stories?

I was re-reading the review of "The Deadly Assassin" in "The Television Companion" today, and it got me thinking about the DW stories have seriously
divided fandom.
While most of us would agree that (say) "Genesis of the Daleks" is great and "The Twin Dilemma" is dreadful, there are quite a few stories that polarise viewer opinion:
* "Creature from the Pit". A clever parody of
sci-fi cliches, or a silly, unfunny smug-fest?
* "Vengeance on Varos". A insightful critique
of violence and media manipulation, or a hypocritical
indulgence in sadistic nastiness?
* "Love and Monsters". A humourous, charming
parable about the experience of being a
DW fan, or a foolish, mean-spirited runaround
with a nasty coda at the end?
What do you think are the most divisive stories?

Many people love it because it's a great story.
Many people hate it because they think it's crap and associate anything to do with McCoy = crap.
Powerful emotional trip through an alien world accompanied by beautiful music.
Or "that one with all the bloody singing and a magical leaf"
and then people seemed to turn on it, as in the devastating Tat Wood
review in "About Time 6" :
Maybe with a New, successful, DW on the air, fandom no longer needed to
treat the TVM as something special, above all criticism?
I don't know about you but it was divisive for me in that after watching it I was torn between my love for this amazing show and the distinct feeling that it's the worst thing I've ever seen.
I quite enjoyed this story. It was fun and lighthearted, and musical.
Others saw it as nonesense and a joke!
Doctor Who (as far as I Know) has always been a mix of humour and serious stories.....this was one of them!
Not a fan of McCoys era - but this was one of them.
The Leisure Hive
The Two Doctors
