On talent alone, they shouldn't have been there. They're just not the most likeable. Hannah is forever blubbing and Tamera has had bad media coverage. Plus I thought Tamera's performance this weekend was a bit forgettable.
Makes perfect sense. They're probably taking fans from one another. Two big voiced soul / dance / r & b type singers of the same age and gender. Silly decision by Nicole in my opinion.
It would have been the same for Lorna, Shelley and Sam but that their images were all a bit different - Lorna didn't have one, Shelley was a bit of a joke and Sam was "the best".
Neither did Kingsland Road but I dont see their fans kicking up much of a stink
The girls aren't doing as well as you wanted. Time to deal with it.
I think Tamera has a fanbase I think most people probably thought she was safe she also had a quite forgettable song choice even though she sang it good .
I think the problem is that they both appeal to the same type of audience of people . I think as soon as one of gets eliminated ( I think it will be Hannah) Then the other person will be at a huge advantage.
I don't really. All the acts are really disappointing, and Hannah is shouty and Tamera is a fairly average singer. Sam C and Abi are out of their depth - but I think it will be a lottery as to who wins really because they are all distinctly average.
The show isn't just about the voice. Personality, likeable factor, liking and relating to the contestant, will be some of the factors why people vote, not just the voice.
YES.....10 Years ago, these 2 would have been hots faves to win and probably win the show too....the majority of the GBP has changed the criteria for the talent shows and thats why it is losing so much viewing figures whem you get talentless acts like abi and sam c who are only topping polls cos drama needs to occur on these shows to get prople talking about it...
jedward/wagner are the only exception....they were entertaining at least!!!!:D:D:rolleyes:;)
hannah's vastly overrated if you ask me. all she does is scratchy shouting. though i think that the 2 worst acts of the competition are pretty easily abi and sam c, i think they both have very young teenage overzealous fanbases who realise this and vote extra hard to keep them in.
There two of the strongest singers in the competition and they have been bottom 2 already I find it ridculous.
The fact is that Hannah hasn't got the likeability factor and THAT is the reason why she was in the bottom two, none of this "nobody voted because they all thought she was safe" crap.. Personally I can't stand Hannah.
I'd rather vote for Abi than Hannah. At least Abi is likeable.
Sorry but this made me laugh. Never in a million years is abi the best of the girls. She is by far the worst girl.
In your opinion obviously. Tamera is probably the best singer but Abi has the nicest tone and well Hannah just shouts her way through every song, what she does can't even be considered as singing.

I understand your frustration but if it was just a singing contest they would dispense with the public vote and just let the judges or a team of record company scouts judge the winner. The competition the contests have entered is based on popularity with the voters at home as much as it is based on talent. Both are obviously not popular enough with voters at home at this stage in the competition. Unless either of them can turn around the viewing public in the weeks that are left they can't win. I think Hannah needs the win or a top 3 place. However, I have a sneaking feeling Tamera will go on to have a successful career even if she is voted out next week - I may be nearly 50 but that girl oozes X-Factor and is the performance I look forward to very week. Her biggest obstacle on X-Factor is the headlines about her conduct before the show. For me I say cut the girl some slack. At 16 you are still very much the product of your upbringing and background. I know plenty of people my age who have turned their lives around from a very unstable start like Tameras either from getting to their early 20s and with maturity realising for themselves their life was on a disfunctional path or by being given an opportunity that allowed them to change who they were. X-factor may be Tameras opportunity - instead of constantly defining her by her past why don't people give her the opportunity to change?

No, you find it ridiculous because you like them. Clearly the voting public do not agree with you.
If this was a talent contest then you may have a point but as it is a personality contest then vocals are not really that important.
Ahhh you seem to be under the misapprehension that this is a serious singing competition.

You go Paul!
I like Abi but out of the three girls and out of the 6 at JH, I thought she was nice but the rest were better.
But she's a cute white girl at a piano who's had a lot of sympathy and a lot of coverage, hence why both Hannah and Tamera place below her.
