    That's sad. I've looked on the internet but it just states that he lived with him mum. It would be nice if they could reconciled after this.

    No - I remember something like that - his dad wouldn't believe he wasn't gay or something, because a lot of his friends were etc. Siavash seemed quite sad about it.

    I thought at the time 'old fashioned Iranian Dad - Edwardian dad'.
