Hi :).

I've been trying to install Windows 7 on my computer and this message always comes up:
Windows could not update the computer's boot configuration. Installation cannot proceed.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but can anyone help me?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated :).

How are you trying to install it?

As a dual boot or on its own?

Yes, I have. Roughly...I went to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management.

I saw it on a video on YouTube.

I set it to E, but when I restarted my computer I couldn't see it as an option.

Go back to disk management & assign a drive letter to it. If you need to ask how (I'm not being funny) you should probably not be trying out beta software.

What kind of partition did you make? As somebody has said, if you're not sure how to manage partitions you shouldn't really be installing a beta OS.
