Max Payne 3.. For me the best game of 2013
I got this the other day and i have to say i was blown away with it.
I enjoyed Max Payne 1 & 2 and tottally forgot 3 was already out and picked it up for a good price on play.com.
firstly I'm going to say I loved the way the game was structured, the storytelling was amazing, the gameplay awesome. I totally loved it when you shot the enemies there face would just cave in with the impact of the bullet. I haven't seen that in a game before so i was amazed by that.
It also kept me playing there are 14 chapters all quite a decent length and for me a satisfying ending, cause usually games these days slack on a good ending.
Rockstar you did me proud

I bought it a few months back , I found it quite samey and boring tbh, i got to a part on a roof with a helicopter and stopped playing, mayb I will go back to it.
Hopefully we see a Max Payne 4 sometime in the future.
I havent played ME 3 can you play 3 without playing the 1st two ? Im guessing not cause i only have a ps3
Im playing through Max again for my 2nd time. I love using bullet time
Cliched throughout. Probably in the top 5 but it's been a fairly weak year.
ME3 for me but it's tainted by numerous amounts of stupid people not understanding the ending and making them write new ones
Halo 4
ME3
Forza Horizon
Then Max Payne 3.
It's a great game.
To be honest i wouldn't recommend starting with ME3, the story and character development runs throughout all three games with your decisions and actions having an impact across each game, so if you started with ME3 you'd feel very disconnected from it all. If you're genuinely interested in the series then i'd recommend playing through all three games if you can. As a PS3 player ME2 would also be a decent start point as it features an interactive prologue that recaps the first game, although ME1 is about to be released on PS3 soon as part of the Mass Effect Trilogy edition (it'll also be a stand alone download on PSN if you don't want to fork out for the trilogy), i'd really recommend all three games though, they all still hold up and the storyline is really worth it. It's easily my favourite game franchise of this console generation, and it's got some of the best characterization i've ever seen in a videogame, i was so attached to some of the characters by the end of ME3 that it would have genuinely upset me if anything would have happened to them:o
Also, ignore all of the whiners complaining about the ending of ME3, no it's not the best ending ever, but it isn't the travesty that some of the more vocal fanboys would have you believe.
So far Sleeping Dogs is my GOTY.
I have to agree. I really enjoyed every aspect of this game, the gameplay, the story, ending etc. Skyrim was jst behind it.
