I already envisage this years winner being the next Steve Brookstein/Leon Jackson.

If they wanted to find a global superstar, they have well and truly failed this year. I don't think many of them will even crack the UK, yet alone anywhere else.

All of the finalists who made it to judges houses can quite easily be compared to another already established artist - that's the problem. There is nothing fresh or interesting with this years bunch.

Jake Quickenden I think for sure. The novelty will wear off Jay, and I don't think Paul comes across as that likeable. A couple of the girls are good, but don't have fantastic voices. I also think the novelty will wear off the 8 piece boy band. Jake Quickenden reminds me of Alexandra Burke...in the sense that he wants to win so bad and comes across likeable at the same time. I also think his voice will suit the theme weeks a lot more than someone like Jay.
