  Probably because the internet is not working (based on info supplied)?
  
  A little more info would be useful eg
  type of tablet?
  Tablet OS version
  type of router?
  Connecting by wifi (how many wifi bars etc)
  Do any other devices connect ok eg pc, phone, tablet etc.
