It reflects how some people in society view the elderly and vulnerable, of which he is both.

Shows them up for what they are - Puerile.

Trying to get a reaction from a 70 year old brain damaged man is disgusting.

The smart arses think they're funny and that it would go down well with the viewers.
It didn't go down well with this viewer.

You often find that the Americans have better manners than us in the BB house, and tonight was a classic example.

Neither of them are fit to breathe the same air as Gary.

Fair point.....do you think the best part of £400k had someting to do with this?

He is taking the money and BB is what it is.

Whilst I think their behaviour was reprehensible he should have been made aware what he was letting himself in for.

I don't think so. But he is in and should be treated with respect and allowed to sleep.

They should show him some goddamn respect!

    Stupid ignorant fools.

That made me really angry... its not right to mess with someone like that who you just met for almost a full 1 day... regarding if he was well or unwell..

You don't know what he has or has not done - we only see around 50 minutes! Most of the housemates have said he is a horrid man and Stephanie and Leslie both reiterated this in the DR. I fail to see why most on this forum think the sun shines out of Gary's backside when he comes across as a grumpy old man who, IMO, shouldn't even be in the house with his health problems.

I think it's significant that Leslie even wants him out

It was disgusting behaviour. They all must know that Gary has difficulties, yet are treating him terribly regardless.

I guess pranks are no longer tolerated in big brother? Just because Gary is old does that make him prank proof? does that mean you should leave him out of everything because he's old?

Lets not confuse 'unwell' with being 70 years old people.

Well, he had a traumatic brain injury in 1988 and has had substance issues. I don't think he's in the best of health, and that environment is probably detrimental to it.

Why shouldn't he? It is hardly strenuous. If the only reason he shouldn't be there is in case he gets picked on then it is the others who are not fit to be there.

the fact that they made a joke at the expense of a vulnerable older man, where he blatantly knew that he was the butt of the joke was disgusting.. And they did it with great joy, even after acknowledging that he would probably kick off
