    She looks different- without wishing to cause offence...how do I put this?....she looks less black than I remember.

    oh yeah and shes lighter skinned but i think thats just the lighting and makeup :)

    She's always been fairly light skinned - she just used to wear corn rows and her hair was darker before. She's adopted a more mainstream appearance in recent years.

    Her mother is white.
    I think her mother is Irish/Italian.

    I thought she looked like a different person as well (especially in her performance at the VMA’s), but maybe thats because I have only ever saw her apart from that in the ‘No One’ video.

    I think the poster meant that he/she thought she was darker skinned than what she really is.. he/she did also say he/she didn't mean to cause offence

    the second poster didn't know how to put it i think because this is a touchy subject afterall :rolleyes: as we can see anyway yeah i think he meant lighter skin

    I agree!

    Think of all the stars who have come on. Only Beyonce and Leona really lived up to expectations imo. Alexandra dissapointed me because she mimed and don't get me started on Britney and Mariah who were huge dissapointments.

    I don't undestand how people can say Alicia was bad. Yes i am a fan but i would like to know what you think is good.
