I don't think it's very nice to call Amy a crack **** I know she had a problem with a crack, but she was a kissogram.
(I think you're taking the thread a bit too seriously, sebbie)
Now now Granny, she had to do something to keep herself occupied for 36 years while stuck on Apalapucia. Introducing it to her younger self halway through the episode was unfortunate though. But it was interesting to see the effects it had in episodes like Asylum of the Daleks. Honestly, the whole Angels thing could've been avoided if Amy hadn't sent Rory to get her and the Doctor some more crack in New York.
Never give up hope, modern medicine is wonderful. Even simple face masks can be very effective from a distance.
Oh, let's not give them that idea again. It was bad enough when Cordens For Justice went on a march around London wearing masks and carrying candles after seeing Miracle Day.
So true. Too many morbidly obese people fail to realise that through the simple act of being seen they are encouraging a whole new generation of children to follow them. Perhaps we should consider limiting the hours they can go outside.
Such a shame. Deliberately being obtuse. Never mind.

Well, I was tongue-in-cheek at first - remembering how Sh'boobie reacted after nobody got his earlier 'comedy' threads... Then I was trying to point out the difference when 'morbidly' is added. I mean, just the word kinda gives one a clue, surely?
But now I shall leave it. Although I did drop a lovely picture in there. Nothing tasteless, obviously.

If you want to ignore the obvious parody for three pages, then I guess that's just the way you like to roll. However, when you start assuming that we don't actually understand the health risks of obesity and refer to comedy in quotes... that's really patronising to everyone.
What did you expect on a Doctor Who forum after midnight?
No, the Doctor should NEVER be morbidly obese. For 50 years, the Doctor has been a THIN PERSON. I could never see the DOCTOR as a fat person, and neither could any OTHER REAL FANS. They would have to be DESPERATE to go for such a politically-CORRECT gimmick. It would RUIN the SHOW. This is just proof THAT the producers hate THE show and want it TO die.
Amusing, but the morbidly obese don't need encouraging any further. They are already so singularly fixated on food that a huge Doctor would simply reinforce their obsession. Plus, there's only so much comic value to be had from him getting stuck in the TARDIS door every episode.
He could be munching on a different snack every scene. Sell this product placement to advertisers and it'd be a great way to pull in more revenue to boost the special effects budget.

Oh come now, back then, Colin was just a bit chubby but mostly fit, and quite attractive. Not morbidly obese AT ALL.
But he had so much potential, if he had just stayed in the Tardis a few more years he would have filled out nicely. We might even have got rid of that horrible jacket as no tailor would touch it to let it out a little.
Damn Michael Grade, clearly he hated the idea of an obese Doctor. It's the only thing that explains the double whammy of both firing Colin and giving us Bonnie Langford.

If you don't care for my 'comedy' posts, I would suggest you somehow restrain yourself from opening them.
And then reopening them.
And then refreshing them.
Then reopening them to see how people have reacted to your bile.
And replying to every comment that's ever left in them. (Paying specials care to reply to everything that you disagree with - or that disagrees with you - as you do seem to be an extremely disagreeable chap.)

You raise good points. Oh, what could have been! Though the days of DW being known for runs down corridors would slowly come to distinct end.

I've said all I'm going to say on the matter.
But I'm going to just leave this here for you...

Anyone who disagrees is just racist against fat people.

He was hardly thin though.

You must be VERY skinny indeed.
Anyway... butting out is EASY when you know how!
...I didn't say he was, I said he was a bit chubby.

It would be like me munching on some
SWEET TREETS
and telling Clara we could defeat the jellyvores if only we had a few more jelly babies.
Sadly, I already ate all the jelly babies:(
AND the BBC could sell special Dr Who jelly babies in the shops too.
