It's a mediocre film, but I loved the Lego playstation game of Indiana Jones, every time I see one of these or a star wars it makes me want to get the game out again.

I was just thinking that it pushed the boundaries before he "did the deed" so to speak. Very scary place. I suppose it's why it's called the Temple of Doom.:p

    What cuts could there be

The UK is the only country that has had a censored version of the film for 27 years.
Its never been released uncut here on tape or dvd .

I'm not viewing but I hope the BBC take this opportunity to air it with the rather long list of cuts back in .

    Doubt it though

I was pleased when Mythbusters tested the jumping out of an aeroplane on a rubber raft bit.

Surprisingly, their survival is entirley plausible!

I think it looks much better than the CGI fakery of Journey to the Centre of the Earth with its almost identical sequence

Have to say, watching this in HD - you really notice all the 'ready brek' white outlines even more, on some of the dated effects.

Didn't notice it being as bad on ROTLA last week?

Bridge scene coming up....look at where the bad guys are in close up, and in long short for bad editing...

Then perhaps the term your looking for is dated. Of course it's fake. :D

That's nothing when you look at how close he comes to having his head crushed and then magically is nowhere near crushing point when he recovers. :D
