im sure she knows we just have alot of banter between us haha i hope she doesnt see the meltdowns though be sad for her
Haha I know. I think we all have the odd meltdown. But if she reads I think she'll be pretty happy. I think we're mostly honest on here so the feedback would be valuable. That's why I think it's best to be honest because then we can all move together.
Selflessly promoting my video, but for studio notes etc there's a lot of head voice/falsetto notes and stuff there. She has some really great runs/agility on some of the notes (so fast that I gave up trying to go through each note individually and just did peaks lol).
I LOVED listening to that live when we had the ustream thing. Sends shivers down my spine just how much power she has and how EFFORTLESS it is. I mean, causually sitting down in front of the computer with a guitar then the ending comes in and it's like "POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" "SLAYONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
"OMGIMCRYINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG"
I really hope the long sustained belts make a comeback with this album. Can't wait to do a vocal analysis of it.
Also hoping Leona hits a sneaky E6 or higher as she's limited herself to Eb6 basically lol. Come on Leona give us that E6! I bet reading this she's like "what do you mean just an E6? Imma give you the who 6th octave and beyond". Then she'll have a song like Mariah's "Emotions" and she'll be whistling all over it with amazing runs and vocal control and slaying our lives and stuff.
Ok I'll calm down omg this album is going to be so amazing YUSSSSSSS SLayona Legendewis coming for those brits/grammys/ivor novellos/oscars etc etc.

This is sick! Everybody that I showed it to, Leona fans or otherwise agreed it was amazing.
I don't know if anyone remembers me suggesting a while ago (like before Glassheart I think) a 10th Anniversary Edition of Spirit? Anyway, I took it upon myself to make this album for my iTunes and am currently making a phsyical copy for myself haha. I've done the front and back cover, but just working on the inlays and booklet too... here's the covers & tracklisting

She touched slightly on a B2 in one of her C3s in "Hurt" and the F#6 is from her cover of "Lovin' You". Over 3 Octaves. She most probably has 4 octaves or more as she hasn't shown us just how high she can go (I remember Simon/Clive Davis stating she had a four octave range).

Great video. What is Leona's range exactly?
(B2)C3-F#6
