I assume that you're aware that those six will only be there to ask a question??

Probably end up with Amy Childs, who everyone will take the piss out of, Sarah Millican seeing as she's on every panel show going and some dullard like David Walliams or James Corden.

Actually that line up just made appearances in the past.

There is no info as yet on this years episode. But at least it's on before the new year rather than after, as the 2010 one was.

    Noel Fielding
    Richard Ayoade
    David Mitchell
    Rob Brydon
    Charlie Brooker
    Jonathan Ross
    Ruth Jones
    Claudia Winkleman

All this lot have been on previous years quizzes so I wouldn't be suprised if some of them aren't on this years one.

I think Rob Brydon, Sean Lock, Jonathan Ross, Russell Brand, Amy Childs and Cat Deeley maybe? (What I THINK will happen not any facts)

You are mental if you think that wouldn't be a good lineup.

Surely this is being filmed soon? So the lineup should be out pretty soon.

    Line-up revealed

    http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a355554/eddie-izzard-jamie-oliver-join-big-fat-quiz-of-the-year.html

It doesn't make it crystal clear whether Jamie Oliver will actually be a team member or just asking one question.

I hope it's the latter as I could just about cope with that but I couldn't stand it if he was on one of the teams.

I think Jamie Oliver is on one of teams:

"Further celebrity guests are expected to appear to set the teams questions about the year. Subjects covered are likely to include politics and celebrity gossip."

Although DS could be wrong of course.

    Jamie Oliver
    Eddie Izzard
    Miranda Hart
    Jonathan Ross
    David Walliams
    David Mitchell

    Jimmy Carr

As long as Jon Snow and Stephen Fry ask questions I don't mind

Jonathan Ross is normally funny on this. I would have David Walliams and Eddie Izzard on one team, David Mitchell and Jamie Oliver and Jonathan Ross and Miranda Hart on the others. Sean Lock would be good but with Jimmy Carr presenting it would be almost like an episode of 8 Out Of 10 Cats

Jamie Oliver is not right for this show. Not sure Eddie Izzard is either. Poor lineup compared to previous years IMO but I will still tune in and hopefully there will be laughs.

Not all that impressed with the line-up this year tbh. But I'm happy with Jonathan Ross, David Mitchell and David Walliams (can't say I'm a huge fan of him but he does make me laugh of BFQOTY). And I'll watch it and give the others a chance, so hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised!

The mention of Ian McKellen in a previous post make me wonder if he'll be doing what John Hurt did a few years ago ie read excerpts from zeleb "autiobiographies" in a serious tone and the team will have to guess which zelebs had the book written for them

I'd prefer Richard Ayoade to David Walliams, though I guess they have to get a balance and I guess Eddie Izzard will provide the surreal.

Jamie Oliver:confused: odd choice but he may pull it out the bag.

He's a C4 regular and they have sometimes had a non comedic guest. Although i'm not a big fan of Hart or Walliams it's better than Winkleman and McCall.

At least that horrible woman Amy Childs isn't on it. Cannot stand her, and she ruins 8/10 Cats when she's on it.

I'd prefer Victoria Cohen or Kirsty Young to Miranda Hart or Sarah Millican.

I don't find Miranda funny at all and Sarah is just a tad overexposed at the moment.

I totally agree, I don't like her jokes. Plus there is a total lack of attractive women on the show, which I think makes the jokes funnier.

Pretty good line-up, all should be entertaining apart from Oliver but I don't have anything against him.
