Episode 3 was better than 1 & 2 but I am still disappointed in the writing.

Really enjoyed the first two or three episodes but now I am afraid the writing is pretty bad and the whole point of the programme, two elderly women dealing with divorce and their partners falling in love with each other, has been beaten to death. Jane Fonda looks fabulous but the script lets her down. Sadly, I thought the whole idea of the show was going to be hilarious but it is just no longer funny, just kind of irritating. Do not like Brianna and sadly, the scenes of her talking to her new dog finished me off, will not bother to watch any more episodes.

I made it to episode 3 and have reached the same conclusions. I admit to being fascinated by the amount of work both leads have had, which is distracting me! So what am I missing? Does it suddenly become fabulous from episode 4 onwards?

The show is awful, I am so disappointed by the writing. I expected more from a vehicle lead by Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.

I am appalled that this show has got the green light, the writing is awful and lazy.

What the hell made Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin do this garbage???

    M-O-N-E-Y.

Hanoi Jane needs lots of money to upkeep her very excellent plastic surgery.

I enjoyed the season. Some episodes were a lot better than others, but I enjoyed it overall. Looking forward to the next season.

I am currently binge-watching this (up to episode 7 season 2), I loved the first season, bit iffy on start of S2 but it seems to have picked up.

Season 2 was A LOT better. Enjoy spending time with the main four and good to see the kids being embedded into the show in an effective way (unlike S1 from what I remember). A nice amount of pathos in the final episodes of the season too. There's a decent trajectory of confidence in this show and I think it's found its place in the tv pantheon in a meaningful way.

I am so shocked that people don't like this and are criticising the script. I LOVE it! I'm enjoying season 3 so far as well.

best show on T.V. I dont get people. the story is original and the acting superb, the idea of two older ladies designing a vibrator has me laughing all the time, and there are some really funny moments. I am sure it will go for a 4th series. I want briahna with a guy maybe the escort lol.

It's a 9 to 5 reunion in the new Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin-starring Netflix original comedy Grace & Frankie. Two mismatched women are thrown together after their husbands come out and announce that they are in love.

Will you be watching? Do you have your fingers crossed for a Dolly Parton cameo?

Are you advertising your own show on a discussion forum? The show's not that bad is it? :o

Yes, it is. How funny that Netflix has taken to advertising its own show.

It's mostly bad for the fact that plastic surgery Hanoi Jane is in it. No doubt that's why Netflix has to try and get us to watch it.
