Hello,
I have a few and to pick one would be hard so I would say these are my top six.
Indian Love Call from Rose Marie
Serenade from The Student Prince
Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life from Naughty Marietta
Waltzing in the clouds from Spring Parade
Cheek to Cheek from Top Hat
Keep young and Beautiful from Roman Scandals.

I dreamed a dream - Anne Hathaway - Les Miserables - I'm not a great lover of the movie but this song with no cuts is truly astounding and one of the most emotional scenes I've ever seen.

Sixteen going on Seventeen - The Sound of Music.

Secret Love - Doris Day - Calamity Jane

A million miles away behind the door -Jean Seberg - Paint your Wagon

Wand'rin Star - Lee Marvin - Paint your Wagon. Younger people will find it hard to comprehend that this was No 1 in the UK charts but in those days No 1's came from all over the place. Hell, the theme from 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' was No 1. Sorry. I've gone off at a tangent.

So many musicals, so little time!

I think my favourite is probably 'Maybe this Time' from Cabaret, especially Liza Minnelli's version. Total tug at the heartstrings every time I hear it.

I also have a soft spot for the title track from 'Beauty and the Beast' and I'm disappointed Angela Lansbury won't be singing it in the new film. There's something about the way she performs it that makes me blub like a baby. There's lots of other Disney songs I adore too ('We are men' - Mulan, 'I won't say I'm in love' - Hercules etc etc).

I think the songs from 'South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut' are also pretty great. 'What would Brian Boitano do?' and 'Blame Canada' are my choices but others are brilliant too. Also 'Cannibal the Musical' by Parker and Stone - 'Let's Build a Snowman'.

From Les Mis I'd pick 'One Day More'. It's a magnificent song with everyone singing different lines right up until the end where they all come together for a massive finale. Makes me shiver thinking about it.

'Rent' also has a place in my heart as a musical and my favourite song from there is 'One Song Glory' which is lovely and moving.

Others have already been mentioned and I've prattled on enough!

I like both The Wicker Man, and The Return of Captain Invincible. In both, Christopher Lee sings, which seems to have been included as a sort of dare or bet, and in both films he sings maybe not well but willingly and with some gusto .........

    Boy, boy, crazy boy,
    Get cool, boy!
Got a rocket in your pocket,
    Keep coolly cool, boy!
    Don't get hot,
    'Cause man, you got
    Some high times ahead.
    Take it slow and Daddy-O,
You can live it up and die in bed!

    Boy, boy, crazy boy!
    Stay loose, boy!
Breeze it, buzz it, easy does it.
    Turn off the juice, boy!
    Go man, go,
But not like a yo-yo schoolboy.
    Just play it cool, boy,
    Real cool!
