Anyone watching? Anyone a fan?

First show was Mike telling how the album came about and now there is a live studio performance of it, from 1974.

Astoundingly, hauntingly beautiful. The man is a musical genius.

Great documentary, and the live performance is wonderful.

It's amazing to think that he was only 19 when Tubular Bells was released.

Watched it all, a tortured genius it would seem. Must be awful as a musician to never be able to better or equal your first LP.

He was also extremely beautiful, and is still good looking now, at 60.

Sad to think he's had so many problems, for one who has brought so much happiness to others through his music.

Oh thanks for that Radiomaniac, I hadn't seen it was on. It's one of my all time favourite pieces of music and is the ringtone for my phone!

I watched both programmes when they were orginally on a few months ago, and there was a thread about it.

I didn't watch the documentary, but did listen to the performance afterwards. I was thinking how I preferred Ommadawn to it.
