Chrome laggy on Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2

Is there a way to install the mobile based Chrome browser on a tablet? On my phone the version you download looks different and has the blue progress bar on the top where as the tablet version has the look of the desktop PC variant. I assume it uses more resources hence the jumpy scrolling?

    I just bought the Tab Pro 12.2. Chrome was pre-installed and works fine. Everything works smoothly.
