After weeks and weeks wondering who is going to win this, I've decided I think Sam has got it in the bag.
I think this has been the most open competition I've ever seen on television.

I think it's really between Jodie, Jessie and Sam and any of them could win.
It just depends who gives the best performances next week and in the final.
I'm not sure about the others though. It depends on the votes. If only we saw how many votes were cast for each contestant each week.
I'm inclined to think, though I could be completely wrong, that we'll get a Jessie and Rachel bottom two this week. No matter which of them goes, I think we'll know who's likely to be in third place come the final - and so I reckon the last two will be a close run race between Jodie and Samantha. I wouldn't like to call it, myself...
I think if Jessie performs as she did this week she will be in the bottom two but if she gives an "man that got away" performance I think she'll avoid it.
Possibly. I'm just going really on the fact that I think, from both this forum and the people I've spoken to in real life, that public opinion appears to be cooling towards Jessie. Like I say though, she could prove me wrong!
That's the problem with Jessie though, I do like her (though I am going off her) but she's very inconsistent. One week we get a stunning performance like The Man That Got Away, then she comes out the next with something like Fighter and it's a mess. I think that's really ruining her chances of winning, which is a shame because when she delivers, she's fantastic.
VERDICT: SAMANTHA VICTORY.
I agree. I don't see her as being inconsistent she's just had one bad week. I think the judges comments about how good a week she's had have been inconsistent though. They told her "Stop" was rubbish when it wasn't for example.
Up until Fighter her vocals were generally very good each week. But I didn't particularly like last weeks performance, then I suppose that's just personal taste. But I do think she is at risk of becoming inconsistent (but then there's only two shows left!), if she gives a brilliant performance on Saturday I'll take this back! My post earlier was a little blunt, reading it back!
No i definitely agree with you, last week wasn't her best, but i still thought it was a better vocal then some of them could give, i never worry she will hit a bum note if you get me. But like you say she still needs to improve for saturday
The part of Nancy suits Jessie better vocally than it suits Sam.
Is that what you mean?
Yeh your short version of explaining is much better then my long winded version lol
It isn't essential but an advantage. Being able to belt especially on a final note provides a bigger 'wow' factor for the audience.
True, but I wish we could both hear them sing it, I'm not sure sam could handle the lower parts, and we could see if jessie could belt the final note
Hmm. I'd be concerned about Samantha in the role purely because she's not got a fantastic lower register, and because Nancy's an alto part, a lot of it is in her lower register. Don't get me wrong, Samantha has a great belt, but I think that vocally she's the least suited of the final four.
you've put what i was trying to say perfectly, i completely agree
