The bbfc have passed a trailer for Revisitations 3 (likely to be The Tomb of the Cybermen, The Three Doctors and Robots of Death), meaning it's the release after The Sensorites: http://www.bbfc.co.uk/CTxxx268357/
Look quite interesting, is it? Might take a punt anyway as I'm partial to a good talking heads documentary, loved the little series 1-5 retrospective one on the series 5 box set extras, so I'm hoping this DVD might be of a similar vein but about the entire show.
I'm sure I read in DWM that bothe the Ice Warriors and the Tenth Planet will be released with animated episodes covering the lost ones a la The Invasion. Can anyone else confirm this or did I imagine it from a parrallel world?

The one extra that hasn't been named and calssified on their website for this story is the trailer for the DVD release after it. It means more waiting to find out what story the coming soon trailer is for on The Face of Evil...
After some Patrick Troughton, is The Krotons confirmed to be out in 2012 yet?
While I'm on how are The Dominators and The War Games rated by you?. Is the 10-part War Games a bit heavy going or not?
I have to say I think the War games is a great story. You would think a 10 part classic doctor who would drag very badly (look as some pertwee six parters) but there is so much many twists and turns that it remains watchable through out.

Some of the six parters are unwatchable; however, I think a seven parter (or longer) is such a long story that the writers have got to do new things with it, therefore keep it fresh.
The War Games is a cracking good story, and has far more going for it than a lot of the six parters. Likewise, those three Pertwee seven parters are all outstanding because they keep chucking new ideas onto the storytelling.
I would much rather watch any or all of these than i would watch Colony in Space, the Mutants, The Armageddon Factor, and many more. I consider it a mercy that Shada was never finished.
I've recently seen The War Games for the first time - I'll vouch that it's cracking. Sounds like a slog - isn't. They flesh out supporting characters interestingly so, for example, the individual villains are more interesting in their scenes with each other than is often the case. They gave the b&w stuff a rousing send off.
Any further news about the Ace Boxset and Greatest Show In The Galaxy?
There hasn't been any news about the Ace Boxset recentley apart from the fact that it will be released in 2012 and will contain Dragonfire and The Happiness Patrol. The Greatest Show in the Galaxy will most likley be released near the end of next year (although this hasn't been oficially confirmed yet) and will also have an optional dolby 5.1 surround sound mix.

I hope on Three Doctors the appalling RT cockup will have been corrected at the end of part 2.

don't know if it's confirmed but i'm certainly looking forward to it as it's one of the few stories i never got on video.
