Clive Anderson and Clive James did this thing much better on sunday nights. We need a programme like this but this is rubbish.
Adrian Chiles and Trevor Macdonald also did a prog like it and i loved those
Hmm, someone's been watching last week tonight with Jon Oliver and ran it through an itv filter.
That’s exactly what I was going to say! It was like a weird mix of ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’ and ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’.
Of course it completely lacked the intelligence that ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’ has, as well as being nowhere near as funny.

Clive James - exactly what I said when making the mistake of watching this tosh last night. Manford can't fill his shoes at all, he's about as funny as Schindler's List. Plus they missed an open goal of a joke, when discussing the penis transplant. "It did have a happy ending" Manford said and yet failed to add "Well, you've got to make sure it works, right?"

Hardly.
It's not a new concept as others have already pointed out.
It's just a weekly edition of the review of the year but they obviously haven't got the balance right. It's hard to do. Ask Charlie Brooker who's Weekly Wipe wasn't that great last series going by many of the comments.
Mansford seems to have no comedic instincts... His Delivery is awful.
I like Jason Mansford which is why I tuned it to the programme but I agree the delivery wasn't good, it looked as if it was stifled in some way, maybe by ITV applying a clean wipe to what was more dirty or offensive script.
The other comic - Jason Byrne - what that his name? He was bloody awful; he made Mansford look like gave an epic performance.
Please quote where I said I was watching. No rush. Take your time.
You didn't, But the alternative to watching it was that you chose to slag off a programme you hadn't even watched. I didn't think you were that idiotic.

So damned if I do and damned of I don't. How very DS.

Probably the funniest thing will be the end credits, when we get to see who's responsible for this tosh.
Laughing about farts, now. TV for 8 year olds
But that's never happened before! ;-) *ahem* Play To The Whistle *ahem*
Glad it's not just me who thinks it's tosh.
Oh yes!:D

Well if you don't like him then why were you watching?

A poor mans Justin Moorhouse.
Jason Manford is not the funny guy he thinks he is.
