did i read somewhere that SM there would be NO returning monsters
yet already we've seen an ood in the trailer and now sontarans in 5 & 6 and cybermen in 7?
also - 7 is the last one before the split? so 7 & 8 will be a 2 parter is that right?

My take on it is that all is not as it seems.
The Cybermen we have seen are really Cybusmen - it could be that these aren't the same as those. And it could be a mere technicality that separates the Sontaran in the images from those we have already come across.
As of yet, SM hasn't outright lied to us, but he is conservative with the truth!
