Maximum ATM cash withdrawal
This has probably already been asked here a zillion times already so, a zillion apologies!
Anyway, anybody know what's the maximum amount you're allowed to withdraw in cash from a normal current account from ATMs?
I'm with HSBC

other than that.......any sensible answers?
If you go now and get the maximum you can go at 0005 and get the same out again.
According to the HSBC website it's £300, it was difficult to check this. I used google
Or you could just be a Romanian ATM fraudster. They like a good bit of skimming do our fellow European Romanian friends. That's if they aren't trying to sell you The Big Issue.Big Issue indeed..........
That's OK. Happy to help
300? Is that all?
That can't be right, honestly.
I'm sure I'm able to withdraw 600 in a day.
In fact, I know I did a couple of months ago.
I'm also with HSBC and just have normal current and saving accounts and a credit card with them - not Premier accounts.
As could anyone interested enough to find the answer. But that is what I infer that you implied
That's OK but not what HSBCs website says as quoted.

The maximum ATM withdrawal is £300.00.
That's what I used:), you are correct:)
I have it at £750 but thats because I have a prmier account yada yada.
If you need to draw more in the future, ask your bank to change the daily amount limit.
but i dont even have £1.00 to take out let alone £350 lol
£300 ATM limit is the standard for both bank and current accounts with HSBC. I don't know if it's still the case, but staff used to be able to (5 years ago) increase your ATM limit upon request.
If you want to know what your daily limit is then go to a cashpoint and do the whole insert card/pin etc then look at the screen where it says money available to withdraw today (that's not the right wording) if you've not taken any out in the past 24hrs then it will tell you how much you can have.
a) Who your bank is;
and
b) If it is their ATM or is operated by another bank (when only a basic subset of functionality is provided).
I remember (and I am going back about 15 years now) when I opened a new bank account they said at the time the limit was £200 per day but I could voluntarily change that between £50-£250 if I wished.
