It was run over? I thought by the tone of the OP someone had savagely murdered the feline celebrity.

Lol no, it was involved in a 'hit and run'!

Probably flattened by the very bus it liked to ride.

I read it on Metro newspaper, I forgot what her name was but the cat always took the same bus and befriended many passengers. Well she died. That person that killed her should go to jail!

What a sweetheart he was, I was planning to go to that area where the cat took the bus and meet him. And now all that is ruined.:( RIP.

Sounds like the cat had a lucky escape then.

What a sad story - I just watched the video on the BBC news page - he seemed a lovely little cat, and very friendly with a curious nature. RIP Casper.

I think the cat is still alive and well

I think it had a cat double and it faked its own death to claim off his life insurance

I have heard of this before, its probably on a yacht somewhere sipping on champagne eating the finest salmon and lurking on DS

    You mark my words ;)

From some of the posts here, we seem to have some really evil 'b's'

b's is not an abbreviation, it's a letter. Quoting it really does not help. Nor the 's.

    Please elaborate

    Why?
It's not illegal to run over a cat. You don't even have to report it.

You do if they cost money you have to report it and pay the owner the money as with all livestock.
