When I was a kid my grandfather had some original American Captain Marvel comics and if my memory is right the Spanish world cup team seem to have the same outfit as Captain Marvel minus the cloak. Another comic I remember was called Freelance, he wore riding trousers and boots and used to beat up nazis.
