There's a few games listed there for 3pm Saturday kick-offs. Presumably the channel next to them is where delayed coverage will be once the blackout ends?

Incredible that Sky would rather show (I guess going by that schedule) Real Madrid at 5:15 delayed and bung a live Valencia game on the red button.

would make sense with game after on red button except the 26th dunno when barca would be on SS2.

    Not surprising though sadly.

There's only match one Sky Sports Extra throughout September I noticed which is good as much easier on red button.

I cannot believe after 12+ years of watching La Liga on Sky they STILL have not fixed the sound problems. Had it again with Real Madrid tonight. The crowd noise will sometimes disappear completely and constant changes in the level of noise from the stadium. Like someone is messing about dubbing the sound. It's very annoying after all these sodding years.

MLS coverage is the same; noise from stadium is sadly muted badly.

By typing 'La Liga' into the Sky search box I found there is going to be a show available only on Sky's On Demand service called 'La Liga Goals' so presumably it's a weekly round up program. Until tomorrow when it's available from its not known how long that is going to be.
Whatever, it's sounds like a whole lot better than the downright insult to Britsh La Liga fans that is 'La Liga World.

Pretty sure the HD picture quality has gone up - not sure what it is but maybe the host broadcaster are using better cameras/encoding this season?

It definitely has improved, certainly with the Barca games it has anyway.

A truly magical moment captured watching the beautiful Sevilla fans pumping out their anthem. The commentators practically apologised for speaking over it....here's an idea - DON'T!

Now we've got the usual sound dubbing problems that plague every match! >:(

    Interesting.

Obviously the La Liga rights were secured late but Sky should (have the capability to) have dealt with this better.

Just started downloading the new 'La Liga Goals' show on Sky box now. It says it's 54mins and the into says 'A selection of the best goals from last weeks La Liga' which sounds slightly odd (54mins and only a 'selection' of the goals?
Anyway, after I watch it I'll duly give my verdict here - good or bad 😊

Its FABULOUS. The 'selected goals' bit is definitely very much mistaken because what we got was 54 mins of uninterrupted highlights (NO ADVERTS) of each game of the weekend NOT just all the goals.
No studio chat / analysis no onscreen presenter - which for many is a big plus.
Also the current league table is shown at the end along with details of the next round of fixtures.

On the downside (for me anyway) original broadcast commentary is replaced by a single persons voiceover comments on each game and the stadium sounds are muted also you are given the final score at the beginning of each game - annoying if prefer not to know beforehand.
Also it's not clear if this will be a 'on demand' only show or appear on Sky sports itself.

All in all though, this is BETTER than Revista la Liga and wipes the floor with 'la Liga world'. So it's a definately 👍🏻 from me.

But it's On Demand only which renders it quite pointless.

    Why?

On Demand is fine. I can get it when I want, which is entirely the point.

I can only find La Liga World which is total garbage and La Liga Show which is slightly better but a bit rushed.

But it IS there. You are searching on a Sky box connected to Internet right? Make sure you are using the search box Type in LA Liga goals and it's there in the list. It only takes seconds after you start downloading it then you can start watching it in 'chase play' mode and the whole 54 min programme should be downloaded in minutes.

    should be downloaded in minutes.

Depending on the local internet speed, of course. Took me 3 hours to download the HD version of 3.3GB

That's shocking. I am only a SD customer so obviously that's quicker to download but 3 hours still sounds extremely long.

I'm on Virgin we have everything else La Liga related is on there (we have Sky Sports On Demand) but not this show....maybe I'll check again next week.

This is why I was annoyed at On Demand only....surely room in their schedule to put the show on a channel?

Hopefully they will do that by the next round of fixtures and also bring the one hour highlights the did for each live Real Madrid / Barca match in the early hours overnight like last few years.

Oh yeah and get rid of La Liga World please ta.

Good news. Sky starting to get their act together again La Liga wise with the new Revista replacement Spanish football highlights prog 'La Liga Goals'. It's on weekly (it would appear) on Mondays at 9pm to 10pm on Sky Sports 5 repeated on Tuesday's at 4pm 😄.

All that's needed now is the restoration of the one hour highlights of each Barcelona and Real Madrid games of each weekend in the wee hours slots - so we (well me anyway!) can duly record them to 👀 later at our leisure.

These are coming up for bidding again soon as Sky's contract runs out.

Any chance BT Sport could make a massive play for these?

I think in a few years once Messi and Ronaldo retire La Liga's value will plumpet as without them the league is boring, a sunny Scottish League if you will.. no matter how much polishing you do.

Love the irony of you posting that the morning after Real Betis won 1-0 in the Bernabau. Real Madrid winless in three in the league.
