The article seems a little confused regarding The Palestinian Authority and Hamas. They are obviously not the same,

We also need to accept nothing other than the destruction of Israel is the aim of the Hamas PaliBarian terrorists.

No need to negotiate with the PaLIEstinians:
Article 13: There is no negotiated settlement possible. Jihad is the only answer.

Utterly stupid of the Israelis to target a school.

The full picture however shows that these schools are used to store rockets. The UN found rockets at one of their schools and then in a move of genius handed them over to the local authorities. They've now "disappeared". Guess where they are now?

The Israelis should not target schools. The UN should not allow their schools to be used as ammunition stores. Hamas should not try to hide their weapons in a school in the hope that they won't be touched there.

The Palestinian freedom-fighters/terrorists win both ways and have been using similar tactics since the Israelis won land from the Palestinians in 1967 and 1973. They ensure that Palestinians get killed by encouraging Israel to target the stored weapons and this helps in their propaganda war as they can cry, "Look. Israel kills children."

Israel has been dealing with the reality that the Palestinian authorities are willing to sacrifice themselves in order to demonise Israel. This is partly in the name of Islam and partly sour grapes that they lost land to Israel during two wars.

If Israel wanted to indiscriminately kill children they'd just do it without warnings and grab land randomly. What they have to do is neutralise the attacks from Gaza using counterattacks that may or may not be seen as aggression. Israel knows that it can't win against such tactics and her only choice is to come down heavily on Gaza or be annihilated herself.

Won land? Was it a prize then that they won in a game show? Or was it, as I am sure you already know, land that they are illegally occupying and that they didn't, in fact, win anything from the Palestinians?

The land was won from Egypt and Jordan. It has never belonged to the Palestinians, who were only invented later.

Ok, let's say it was 'won' from Israel and Jordan. Was it in a raffle? Or a quiz night? Or are you willing to admit that it wasn't 'won' at all, but taken as spoils of war? It is land that is now illegally occupied, land they have no right to. Using sanitised language does not disguise that fact.

Of course it was won in a war that was forced on Israel. The Arabs wanted war and expected to conquer land if the won. They lost, and Israel got defensible borders.

Not won at all. Stolen (in a war that Israel started, the 1967 war). It is occupied land and they have no more right to it than the UK does to northern France. Israel is behaving like a rogue state now, and need to have sanctions imposed on them to force them to conform to accepted behaviour. Of course, it will never happen, not whilst the US bankrolls them all the time.

Hamas is beyond the pale but for some reason Israel isn't. They are both murderous thugs committing war crimes. Why does Israel though get away with it.

Gaza death toll soars above 1,000 as ceasefire reveals horrors
The Gaza health ministry said that over 100 corpses had been recovered in this period, bringing the total Palestinian death toll since the onset of Israel’s offensive to more than 1,000.

They've just hit the outpatients unit of the Shifa hospital - kids among the dead. Shifa is Gaza's main hospital. The number of hospitals attacked now, is 8 or 9.

Al Shifa hospital and children's play park in the Al-Shati refugee camps witnessed by NBC news team:

Busted : "An NBC News journalist witnessed the attack on the hospital and said it had been fired by an Israeli drone".

Another strike occurred at the Al-Shati refugee camp in northern Gaza. At least 30 dead and wounded were brought to Shifa Hospital in ambulances, civilian cars and on motorcycles. A NBC News team in the area said the strikes were in "close succession."

The pictures and videos shown on twitter in the last few weeks are unimaginable. This isn't war, this is unadulterated evil!!!

Seems very strange that they are refusing to let news teams film any footage of the supposed site of the strike.

Even if the school did have ammunition stored within it's vicinity, it still doeent give Israeli the right to blow up the whole school killing innocent people.
Wow, that's considerate of you to suggest that Israel just blow up the part of the school where Hamas are storing the Rockets etc.

Israel is saddened when it's own people get killed.

Hamas regards the deaths of their own people as good publicity

They'll be a lot more deaths and wounded tonight. Jabalya, north Gaza, consisting of 110,000+ people has been ordered to evacuated. Reporters have been told to stay in their hotels tonight - god help those people. :(

IRISH RED CROSS BLOG No wonder Gazans are angry. The Red Cross can’t protect them

Twitter is claiming that another UNRWA school east of Gaza has been hit with jet missiles. It's currently used by displaced people. UN report that evacuation notices were given to 300k people. Another news source claims more than 400k were told to evacuate. Gaza is being pounded.

It is land that is now illegally occupied, land they have no right to. Using sanitised language does not disguise that fact.

So is every other bit of land on the planet - it all used to belong to someone else. Israel occupies most of the West Bank because Jordan didn't want the Palestinians back - and there's never been a secure, moderate, Palestinian regime to agree a settlement with. It would have gone back to Jordan with border adjustments when Jordan and Israel signed a peace treaty otherwise. Gaza isn't occupied at all. Its quarantined as its inhabitants keep on attacking Israel, but its not been occupied, in any sense, for nearly a decade. The Golan was annexed after decades of artillery attacks from there - in the same process that establsihed the northern border of England to stop future border raids, or established the US border with Mexico.

Its hardly a unique modern case either. But you don't find the pro- Hamas lobby marching to undo the permanent Russian occupation of the bits they annexed of Finland, Romania , Japan , Germany or Poland, or uttering a word about the Chinese annexation of Tibet , and bits of India, or protesting the more recent Russian landgrabs in Georgia and the Crimea.
