Of course Labour have no double standards at all ....going into an illegal war in Iraq which killed hundreds of our soldiers and hundreds of thousands of civilians....then quick as you like setting up various contracts with the 'new' Iraq government.....now that is a whole new meaning of double standards......

Any comment on the subject or are you the latest in a long line of Tory supporters to talk about Labour, Lib Dems, the weather, anything except the topic of the Tories and Russia?

But surely to be a critic the person making an allegation has to be above reproach themselves? These instances with Russia are recent history....,,.future contracts will be looked at and we can judge what happens from now on in with any existing ones......Iraq happened and these contracts were made after the illegal war.....and all those deaths.....there is a stark difference between the two.....we invaded another country built on lies and deceit and ultimately wealth for Mr Blair himself....and built contracts up in the aftermath of the dreadful mistake....totally different totally cant be judged in the same breath......

This is nothing to do with Iraq. This is about Cameron's very public criticism of Russia and his call for sanctions to 'punish Russia' whilst at the same time appearing not too keen to curtail British involvement. Not only that, but his party seems extraordinarily reliant on Russian funding. Funding which he appears to play down and shows no signs of refusing, or returning. That goes against his speeches of late doesn't it? Or does punishing Russia mean everyone else must whilst the Tories continue to profit?

OK in reading the report where is the hypocrisy?

Cameron has said that as far as he knows we have not exported to Russia and he will have it investigated to confirm. There really is not a lot else he can do. Export licenses would be the decision of civil servants, not ministers and the civil service is politically independent.

I say again what have these Russians done wrong? If they have done anything i agree with you.....and on the basis you state is no party should accept money from a British Citizen with an ethnic Background that we dont agree with......so everyone from that background is being held up to the standards of others that is clearly the worse type of pidgeon hole politics and one that i would have thought Labour supporters would be the last section of society to back?.............cancelling 35 orders since march is a step......these orders and others were in place before all this current situation started happening.....Iraq all these orders appeared after the terrible mess which was left from the war.....surely Iraq is infinitly worse than the current situation is with Russia atm.......

Russia hasn't done anything wrong, didn't stop Cameron publicly blaming them, vilifying them then calling for Russia to be ostracised. See other thread for why the people might be a concern.

    Nothing wrong?

What like backing a revolution in another sovereign nation?

Providing technical assistance in firing Ground to Air missiles one of which was probably used to shoot down a civilian airliner.

That is before you get to probably ballsing up evidence in a crash site - nobody had any business on that crash site before investigators in order that the cause can be ascertained. Now it just looks like they were trying to cover up their own culpability.

Think you should go read the last few pages of the Ukraine thread Paul. You can link to your evidence in there.

No .... I 'm trying to see where you are coming from but sadly you have obviously ignored the facts. I agree Cameron is not without blame but not on the issue you raise.
