Being/Having a Befriender - Experiences?
Dearest Folks of DS... I was wondering if anyone here has any experience of being a Befriender or have had one (or even if a family member or friend has)?
I've recently completed my training, but I'd love to hear other people's experiences. I'll be working with people with mental ill health, which I hope will be interesting.
There are other befrienders where I am, but I've not been able to discuss anything with them yet. If anyone has any experiences, good or bad, I'd love to hear from you, or PM me.
