Just a discussion that has been going on in another thread.
Is it right or wrong...morally...for a 31 year old to look at a 15 year old?
By look, I don't mean glance...but lust over or fall for?

Its not illegal to "look" at a 15 year old, what are you talking about!? To have sexual relations, yes thats illegal but not to look at one!
Some posters have found ways and means of justifying it :eek:
(I myself was able to kind of rationionalise it from the 15 year olds perpective!!)
But it is disturbing and worrying that a 31 year old could look at a teenager in that way.
That's the point I'm trying to make, but it seemed to lost on some.
I even got a definition of the word look, because one FM was either trying to be a smart alec by saying it's OK to look in the direction of 15 year olds or they are a bit morally corrupt in claiming that it's fne so long as you don't do anything to said 15 year old.
Many girls at age 15 have fully developed breasts, have almost lost their childlike looks and tend to wear "sexy" outfits to impress the boys.
It's possible a grown man could find this attractive.
There will be loads of men who will say "never" but I know many would have a quick, nervous glance.
How would this 31 year old know if the girl in question is 15, would he ask to see her birth certificate first? I only ask because some of the schoolgirls I see when coming back from work look nigh on 18, let alone 15.

Not really - but it's not illegal (more just a question of morality and people's invidual opinions - I myself am not keen on big age gaps when girls are just of age - experience makes me question what a 32 year old guy wants with a 16 year old girl

In this particular case, the 31 year old would have found out she was 15 because of the relation he developed with her.
Doing anything about it is (probably) morally wrong, but looking at a healthy teenager and thinking they're attractive is....pretty much the human condition. It's biology.
Most people over 30 wouldn't "fall for" a teenager because their immaturity and the stage of life they're at and so on would be a turn-off, though.
It certainly is. Asked and answered in dozens, perhaps hundreds of similar threads in recent years.
To be fair the OP is asking a genuine question inspired by another thread (and at the request of several posters they asked the OP to start his own thread) so don't be too harsh on him!!

And since you're bringing this particular case into it, it should also be pointed out that they didn't start dating, far less having sex, till after she was 16. (I don't think the age makes much difference, but you seem to be quite obsessed with the fact she was a couple of weeks under 16.)
