Many times have I been slaughtered for daring to have this opinion.......but quoting Judge Judy 'I don't give a rat's behind' so I'll just say it again.

PA (the all round good guy) walked out on his wife and kids.
    Those lovely kids were dumped.
    End of.

Good point. It would have been a million pity points for Pete. No doubt the marriage was doomed, despite KP not wanting to split. I suppose for Pete to emerge as the marketable brand that is DOTY/Good guy, he had to have a good reason to be the one to break the family up. "Well, I road on KP's coattails for a bit, got famous again, fathered a couple of kids and then realised I'm married Jordan so walked out" is not DOTY. It makes you look like a shallow ratbag. His dislike of the Goulds and her failing to tell him that she was still socialising with the Goulds gave him what he needed - a reason to go based on the fact was affair...later changed to 'was thinking about having an affair'. Just my theory anyway.

You are entitled to have that opinion, but it's an opinion I can only laugh at. It is such a simplistic way to look at the whole situation. He walked out on his wife (not before time IMO), but to say he's dumped his kids is just ridiculous.

    I agree.

I think the man is a complete twot, but it would have been hugely detrimental to stay with KP for the sake of the kids.

My own personal opinion is ... No one should stay in a marriage simly because they have children ... BUT they should try harder to resolve their issues because they do have children ..
To many people walk away from marriage these days ,because of a problem that most times can be solved , without trying ..

    who writes these articles-really:rolleyes:
writing about Petey and basically him wearing flip flops whilst taking his children and what looks like Gloria down the beach-newsworthy really?? No wonder no ones posted on it on the Daily Mail comments section there's not really alot to say!

funnily enough on UTube under priceymedia's pictures of her latest wedding is a Katie and Peter episode when Katie was working so Petey took all 3 kids down to Hove Lagoon (where i actually take my grandchildren all the time) and Petey was so bored and missed Katie- its a shame because even though he was an idiot in those days too he seemed more natural in front of the camera even lightly swearing and showing how he just left Junior whilst junior threw himself on the ground screaming seemed to me that Petey was just then shown quite rightly as a normal parent in those days where as now its soo edited and put on in front of the cameras and the voice over is alot worse than it used to be in now making out that Petey is the perfect package-sorry i know people change but not that much this DOTY image is nauseating

it is interesting though to see how the Andre brand has changed and i don't think for the better,i think if they showed Petey more "normal "like they used to then he wouldn't get half as many tv critics among other professionals taking the mickey,i know its all been said before its just whilst ive been ill ive been looking at their old shows for the first time on utube and have really noticed these things, ive also noticed how thin and gaunt looking KP was in those days,

Simplistic or not the Abomination that is Andre walked out on his kids.
In this day and age he could have walked away with a plan in place about his moneymakers but of course he didn't do that.

Been there,,,,,,,,,,done that.....and Peteybabes did one on his wife and kids.

Is that really hard to understand?

It sure was insania to leave them with their Mother. Although ripping them out of the family home and away from Harvey isnt ideal either.

Absolutely agree. I will knock him for many things but not from walking away from a relationship that made him miserable. He has joint custody of the kids so to say he walked out on them is complete rubbish. What was he supposed to do, stick around and continue to expose the kids to a toxic environment? IMO, he did the right thing for himself and the children in that regard.

Obviously enjoying spending some quality time with his brood

I take it by brood they mean camera crew, sound crew, management team, Uncle Tom Cobbley and all?

    Radio mic? Check.
    Children? Check.
Spontaneously lush assemblage of Peter Andre fans posting for picture with camera to capture the moment? Check.
I'd say the camera crew were present. How nice for the children to be on yet another working holiday.

No, it's not hard to understand at all, that is why I am surprised you are having trouble.

He left his wife, not his kids. As far as I am aware he has joint custody. That is hardly the actions of someone that has dumped their kids.

So every family split in the UK, where the person leaving the family home is labelled as someone that dumps their kids? Is that what you're saying?

It's very unhealthy to stay in a relationship that has broken down irreconcilably. That goes for the kids, as much as anyone.

I could slate PA for a lot of things but to give the guy his due, I think he would have walked out on KP an awful lot sooner had it not been for his kids, he quite clearly adores J & P (he may have mentioned this;)) & imo would have been pretty reluctant to break up the family.
He regularly speaks with pride & admiration about the long & happy marriage his parents have & the stable upbringing he & his siblings had so I think he would have moved heaven & earth to make his marriage work in order to keep the family together.
