Anyway to get the BBC iPlayer Desktop, to show the correct region

Here I am sat "listening" to BBC Breakfast, on the Desktop, but there is one thing that is annonying me, the fact that local news is for London.

Is there no way for the BBC to send the correct region to my Desktop?
