So former Irish Attorney General, Peter Sutherland, head of the UN affiliated Global Forum on Migration and Development , non-executive chairman of Goldman Sachs, former chairman of oil giant BP and Bilderberg attendee has decided that Europe is far too white & European:

(on ethnic homegeneity)

"that's precisely what the European Union, in my view, should be doing its best to undermine."

He states that migration is

"a "crucial dynamic for economic growth" in some EU nations "however difficult it may be to explain this to the citizens of those states"."

Sutherland also argued that EU states should:

"stop targeting "highly skilled" migrants, arguing that "at the most basic level individuals should have a freedom of choice" about whether to come and study or work in another country. "

So basically he wants an influx of workers to be prepared to be paid next to nothing, regardless of the social consequences. The frightening thing is this man is the main advisor to the UN on migration and will have the ear of all EU leaders.

I wonder if he feels the same about China, India, Africa, the Middle East, etc, etc.

Someone on gd suggested that part of the strategy is to undermine nationalism, but the terrible irony is that carrying out this ideology is likely to stoke that very thing. Multiculturalism is a wonderful idea, and perhaps could work if religion did not exist. But the fact is it does not take into account the fact that Islam is an aggressive unreformed orthodox religion that will take advantage of neo liberal ideologies such as these to eventually destroy any kind of liberalism.

Exactly. It is designed to undermine nationalism, but instead of replacing it with a lofty notion of human unity, as the supporters of mass migration hope, will instead replace it with something even more primitive and dangerous, sectarian fanaticism.

If so that means only nationalism in Europe needs to be undermined, it is fine elsewhere.

Why is it always well off people that want mass immigration? He can afford to live anywhere.

I doubt there are many places in India or China or even Africa that are like Newham for ethnic diversity.

It is hard to explain to ordinary citizens because there is nothing in it for them and they don't have his money to move.
