I'm really going to miss Carl, and I'm massively disappointed with the way his relationship with Chas ended; whatever happened, they loved each other and I felt they were one of those soap couples that were made for each other.
And me:( though it was no shock it was going to be him all the build up was pointing that way;)( i wanted Megans son to be the one who died, but no such luck:rolleyes:)
I'm really going to miss Tom. He's been a fantastic actor on the show and has really left a footprint on the soap forever. A fantastic villain and a fantastic actor. It's a shame to see him go.
The acting and the episode was great - but I'm very sad that Emmerdale has lost such a fab character as Carl King. And they murdered the relationship that was Chas and Carl. Awful to think that their great on off relationship of about eight years ended in such a twisted way. Like someone else said, before the Eve saga you actually could believe they loved one another and Carl was there for her last year after Jackson died.
quite annoyed it was carl ... was hoping when cameron was standing over him that jimmy (having witnessed everything from the background) would come out of nowhere and kill cameron .. would have made for pretty good viewing!
So sorry to see lovely Tom Lister go, thought it was on the cards when I read he is in panto! I hope we see more of him in the future than we have of the other two King brothers! Well done to Emmerdale on the live ep the hour whizzed by to me, bet it didnt to them.

Carl used to be a great character but he's been going in the wrong direction for ages.
