Swindon Town v Walsall - Rob Gurney & Richard Wilford (Live Commentary)
I had the chance to listen to the commentary on this game tonight and I have to say Rob and Richard did a brilliant job of conveying the action from an exciting 3-3 draw (with Walsall mathematically securing their League One status for another season). I tend to listen to Walsall commentaries on Saddlers Player (who had Dale Moon and Mick Kearns on duty as usual) as it's almost always my only listening option, but as much as I enjoy that service it was nice to be in the BBC WM catchment area to listen in on a night when they were covering a Saddlers game live.
It was confirmed at half-time that WM will be doing commentary on Walsall's final game of the season at Bristol City on Sunday week, with Rob Gurney and Daz Hale (if I'm remembering rightly) mentioned as being their team at Ashton Gate, so I have a question for you Connor - how many Walsall commentaries does that take WM up to for the season? In your last WM commentary stats post you said they had covered 11 live Walsall games, so including these two games that would take them up to 13 commentaries unless I have missed one in the interim period.
