5live have got John Bennett in the studio keeping an eye on the Barca game, if PSG pull it of, I am sure 5live will be gutted!

John Bennett looked really nervous talking about the game, he had his arms crossed and seemed to be trying to hard.

Aldershot v Wrexham - Mark Poyser and Paul Jones (abandoned*)
World Championship Snooker, Sheffield - Gareth Blainey

    * I say abandoned but that's a bit misleading. The game hasn't been but they gave up doing commentary as their ISDN kit kept failing. After 20 minutes into the game they've re-connected, but are taking BBC Surrey's commentary of Gavin Dennison and Rob Worral.

    BBC WM

BBC WM 95.6 Sport with Richard Wilford live from The County Ground

    League One
Swindon Town v Walsall - Rob Gurney & Richard Wilford (Live Commentary)

I had the chance to listen to the commentary on this game tonight and I have to say Rob and Richard did a brilliant job of conveying the action from an exciting 3-3 draw (with Walsall mathematically securing their League One status for another season). I tend to listen to Walsall commentaries on Saddlers Player (who had Dale Moon and Mick Kearns on duty as usual) as it's almost always my only listening option, but as much as I enjoy that service it was nice to be in the BBC WM catchment area to listen in on a night when they were covering a Saddlers game live.

It was confirmed at half-time that WM will be doing commentary on Walsall's final game of the season at Bristol City on Sunday week, with Rob Gurney and Daz Hale (if I'm remembering rightly) mentioned as being their team at Ashton Gate, so I have a question for you Connor - how many Walsall commentaries does that take WM up to for the season? In your last WM commentary stats post you said they had covered 11 live Walsall games, so including these two games that would take them up to 13 commentaries unless I have missed one in the interim period.

UEFA Europa League Quarter-Final Second Leg
Fiorentina v Dynamo Kyiv - Andrew McKenna

    Cricket: Second Test Match

Once again Toby Gilles sat in for Macca as talkSPORT's afternoon sports newsreader earlier today. I've only spotted this today, but while he's not been providing end of innings/session or close of play analysis on the West Indies v England Test series, Jack Bannister has been providing previews to each day's play during the Hawksbee & Jacobs show, usually just after the 2.30pm news.
