Well, for me Scissor Sisters -Magic Hour nixes it
Lana Del Rey's Born to Die is in there too although I don't like all the tracks on it
Nicki Minaj's Roman Reloaded would have to be the third by default I think, although I think as an album its too long and Nicki is more a singles artist at this stage of her career haha

    1. Lana Del Rey - Born to Die
    2. P!nk - The Truth About Love
    3. Nicki Minaj - Roman Reloaded

These may change soon though with the release of Rihanna's 7th album coming up.

Lambchop - Mr. M (Sample track: Betty's Overture)
Cat Power - SUN (Sample track: Ruin)
Delta Spirit - Delta Spirit (Sample track: California)

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die,
Emeli Sande - Our Version Of Events,
    Cheryl - A Million Lights

and a special cheating mention to Paloma Faith - Fall To Grace.

And as expected the thread is (quite rightly) filled with lots of Lana and Emeli's.

Never mind "so far", my top three of the entire year are:

    1) Handwritten – The Gaslight Anthem (Their best album in a while imo. Can't wait to see them live!)
    2) Living Things – Linkin Park (they were AMAZING live! Totally going to see them when they wash up on UK shores too)
    3) My Head Is An Animal – Of Monsters & Men (some depressing and some weird lyrics, but the music is nice, jolly and different. The album is solid and the female lead singer is beautiful - think I've got an unhealthy crush on her :D:o Iceland rules! So do the Irish for getting them to number one – brilliant!)

It's shocking how many people on this thread listen to computerised soulless pop nonsense like Madonna and Marina and think that's what good music is. WHAT!?? I mean come on! Get a grip.

For me my favourite album this year is The Vaccines - Coming of Age.

Thats your opinion, Madonna has sold plenty of records so people obviously enjoy her music.

I'm not a fan of The Vaccines, but I wouldn't have a go at you for listening to them.

Those are the only 2 albums I have enjoyed a lot this year. Not a good year for albums. Glad to see people saying Frank Ocean.
