Channel 5 goes AWOL

Hi I lost Channel 5 last night. I've run a full rescan but get a message saying "no or bad signal" or "Channel may be scrambled". The signal shows as coming from Crystal Palace. BBC1 comes from that transmitter and is ok, and I can get 5 via Analogue fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

Well I can get Five OK from Crystal Palace. Can you get all the other channels OK, in particular ones from the same multiplex as Five, such as bid tv, price-drop tv (channels 23 or 24) or the BBC Radios 1 to 4?

Maybe you picked up the wrong transmitter when you re-scanned.

There have been various posts in some threads since yeaterday / yesterday evening about channels getting blocky or lost all together. Could be weather related seeing as so many have sprung up to say the same thing. I had very bad ITV channels last night from about 8pm - just started blocking and pixellating until it gradually got to no or bad signal. Found other users had the same. I'm on CP tx

we've had very poor analogue tv over the last couple of days, as well as some french breaking through. I suspect some sort of temperature inversion.
i'm in wiltshire and our signal comes from hannington.

We lost Channel 5 from Heathfield round about 8pm. Seems to have been common, whatever it was.
