My daughter is going to live with my granparents for a bit due to personal reasons so me and her dad are agreeing to a residency order to make it easier for my parents to do certain things like schools and that. Now solicitor said me and my daughters dad just need to write and sign this letter to show we dont object then my parents can go to court. So thats all i know at the min, i just want to know is it a fairly straight forward process and what will actually happen in court? Will the judge be like this is fine i approve (seen as there no objections) and is there any other info which might be useful to me? My parents are the ones who are actually speaking to the solicitor.
