The incarnations with which they raced only, do you really believe those Flashes could keep up with Pre-Crisis Superman or Superman Prime?
If we're going to have a serious debate, somebody needs to clarity which incarnations of each Character we're going to use, if whether or not we can simply use the highest end feats of each character.
Superman cannot access the speed force. Neither can Superboy Prime. Neither could Superman of Earth 2, the pre Crisis version. However the Flashes were able to temporarily trap SBP in it until somehow he reality punched his way out of it... so given no Superman incarnation has ever been able to tap into the Speed force, I'd say it's safe to say any and all that can are capable of outrunning Superman whether it be Pre Crisis, Byrne retcon version, post Zero Hour Superman or even Modern Superman.
