Anybody recommend a simple drawing app'?

Just thought I'd ask...

Anybody know of an Android app' that's good for doing simple drawings?

What I'm after, specifically, is something for doing really simple doodle-type drawings to give people directions or demonstrate how something fits together or which wire goes to where on a gizmo etc.

I've tried searching the app' store but if you search for "drawing" or "sketch" it always returns artsy app's and if you search for "notes" it offers you text-based planning app's etc.

I currently use a chalk-board app' and it serves the purpose but I assume there must be something better available. Ideally it'd be able to do stuff like transfer a drawing to another device so that, for example, once I've drawn directions for how to get to my house I can send them to the other person's phone etc.

Any suggestions?

Don't know if it is available for Android, but David Hockney uses one called Brushes on his iPad.

Edit: Oops. Just reread the OP and realise you don't want "artsy".

Try foxit or at least I think that's what it's called, we use it to scribble onto PDFs but I think you can open anything and scribble on it then send it to anyone via email

Dunno if it will let you create a new file from scratch though
