it is tuesday and still no episodes

You wrote that at 8.43am... that's a bit silly, don't you think?

I guess there are no episodes coming today... perhaps we won't get any this week!

SeanWilkins12, I don't want to burst you're bubble but The Bill really hasn't been all that "Christmasy" in recent years. Sure, the fact it is Christmas has been mentioned but the majority of stories are pretty much the same as any other time of year.
Of course, this year things could be different and for you're sake I hope they are. You seem to have a great love of The Bill at Christmas and I would hate for you to be completely shattered by a lack of Christmas content.

yeah gone are the days when PC's would dress up as christmas elves! although last year dan did dress up as father christmas. But to stop you being disapointed in this years christmas episode (which ill probably be shown around easter witht he way things are goinng at the mo) seanwilkins12 i have gone and got you some bill themed christmas songs:

Deck the halls with boughs of holly
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Throw that stiff up on the dolly
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Talk to us and if you're willing
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Tell us who did all this killing
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Tell us how you want forgiveness
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
    You don't know we've got a witness
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Talk to us, you've nothing to lose
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Why's there blood upon your gym shoes?
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Want to make a good impression?
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
    Make yourself a fast confession!
    Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!

happy now? well just incase here is another for you:

    Good King Wenceslas got smashed
    On the feast of Stephen
Tony said you failed to stop
    In this bag your breathin’
The lights they went from green to red
    Because of too much brandy
He’s bound to lose his license now
He should have stuck to shandy."

now please show your appreciation by being quite

Just looked at the ITV Press Centre, there's no episode of The Bill on the 13th and 14th December. Some programme called Extinct has taken its place.

    Good for you.

What's the address? I want to write to them as well... not like it will achieve anything, but I still feel compelled to write to them about the way they have treated the show this year.

Nicola Stapleton just plays the same character whatever she's in.

Linda Robson wasn't very good tonight, either. Over-acted quite a bit.

Have you had a response yet? To their credit, the Duty Office are usually quite quick at replying.

To whoever asked, the address is dutyoffice@itv.com

    Thank you for your email.

I am sorry I am only able to advise schedules 2 weeks ahead of transmission.

If you care to check back with us at the beginning of December, we will be to confirm our schedules then

I notice SeanWilkins12 isn't around. He's probably had a heart attack by now from the lack of "Christmas spoilers".

Although, speaking of Christmas, I would like to see The Bill do something different, like other programmes do (and I don't mean arresting a Santa or whatever).

I think one of the best episodes I've ever watched was the one where CID were drafted into uniform to help over the festive period!
