Just wondered whether the news about Carolynne writing W**ker on a little boys forehead will influence anyones votes ?
I thought It was really nasty - I don't really understand why if she is not famous why was the boy asking for her autograph ?

My apologies if this has already been mentioned - I did a search as I wanted to read people views on this but nothing came up

She was in a group called Word On The Street, when she was going out with Ben from A1 there is a picture of her here not sure if the story is true or not though ;)

saying he'd shit in people's shoes didn't do Cameron any harm....so I shouldn't think it will do much harm to Carolynne, if its even true. Sounds like made up bollox to me.

It's a 16th-hand report in a tabloid, and doesn't bother me in the least even if it is true - we've all of us done things we regret.

I'm more concerned that she has a publishing deal with a major label, may have known Gary Phelan before the audition process began (and she voted him in), and has been previously signed by a Universal label and released a single. The first has been confirmed by Endemol, but is apparently not against the rules we haven't been shown, the second is pure speculation (but based on the fact that Carolynne wrote a song for and went out with a member of A1, who Gary's band 3NM supported). The last two are also speculation, of course, until confirmed/denied by Endemol, but I did find this site stating that Word On The Street (or WOTS, as they were also known) was signed to Recognition, a Universal subsidiary:

The following sites still stock the single Sing It To You:

    http://www.moremusic.co.uk/lists/dance/cd/cdw.htm

Yet in The Daily Record just a few days ago, Fame Academy spokeswoman Helen Platt said: "Some of them have done some songwriting, but none of them have been recorded."

Really? This is the third student I've found who seem to have recorded singles (the others are Gary Phelan and Simone Stewart).

Why don't the BBC and Endemol disclose the rules of this competition, so we can clear up this nonsense once and for all?

I wonder. Perhaps it's because they think we're all idiots, and if they lie low, give out false information and repeatedly dismiss viewers' valid concerns, they'll get away with running a totally compromised "competition" on publicly funded TV?
